A great thing for dog owners living on 2nd or 3rd floor of an apartment building. You do not have to rush everytime in the garden because dogs do not use the human swewrage system unlike cats who can learn.
The Pet Loo was invented by the owner of a dog who lives in an apartment with her dogs and recognised the need for dogs to be able to ablute without the owners presence and attention.

A great device for those who think their pets become lonely and anxious when left alone. This new talking bowl is called CHATTERBOWL. There is not difficulty in using it, its as simple as ABC. You can record a message of up to 10 seconds into a small device called the TalkBox which fits under the bowl. Now everytime your pet approaches the bowl, a photocell in the bowl plays back the owner's message. This CHATTERBOWL costs around $20.

Vet tech Sue Roake decided to create her own product for the safety of dogs to protect them against accident and injury caused by seat belt harnesses and poorly designed dog harnesses. It does not take much to fracture the soft tissue by dog harnesses which may cause permanent damage. Designed in consultation with veterinarians and otherpedic surgeons to be anatomically correct for a canine, this product costs around $40.

iSeePet is a remote communication device that allows animal-lovers to see, interact and even feed their pets via the Internet. A CCD video camera with a 130-degree angle of view is built-in to the feeding unit and images can be accessed through a dedicated website. In case Fido isn't paying attention, there's also a "dinner bell" - an electronic sound that can be activated to signal that food is on offer.
Designed to cater for anxious situations where owners are unexpectedly delayed, the feed function is also controlled through the web interface and can supply the required quantity of dry pet food to your pet. iSeePet is currently available in Japan.

This gadget is for those among us who are very attached to their pet here's a great (and VERY expensive) way to check in on your cat/dog/budgie when you're not at home. The Matsushita Electric Works Peppot Pet-Camera has a built-in motion sensor which detects when your pet is within shot and can take pictures automatically and send them to your mobile phone.

A cafe is opened recently on Fifth Avenue in New York which is exclusively for cats and their owners. The maker of dry cat food (Meow Mix Company) opened the cafe in Midtown to promote the company's first foray into the wet category of the cat food market.
The menu is centred on the new wet food, which comes in seven flavours and the snaks for the owners (chicken, seafood dishes and beef) correspond to the wet food flavours.
